Maharashtra: People of Gangodwari village risking life for water

Nashik (Maharashtra), May 05 (ANI): Amid a severe water crisis in Nashik, people of Gangodwari village have been risking their lives to procure water. The villagers have to descend into 70 feet-deep well to fetch water amid scarcity. Gangodwari village lies in the Peth Taluka of Maharashtra’s Nashik. As per the Sarpanch, women have to walk a distance of nearly 3 km before they can reach the well. The village administration has requested a raise in the budget only to no avail.
