Hanoi [Vietnam], April 16: The 2026 Dedication Awards ceremony was considered 'Soobin's night' with a spectacular 'hat-trick' in three categories: Program of the Year, Singer of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
The results were announced at the 20th Dedication Awards ceremony held on the evening of April 15th at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hanoi).
The 20th season of the Dedication Awards, organized by the Sports & Culture Newspaper , witnessed a more vibrant year for Vietnamese music than ever before, with many large-scale concerts and widespread impact, featuring large-scale investments, professional staging, approaching international standards, while also reflecting a strong Vietnamese identity. This year's nominations therefore showcased a fierce and exciting competition between veteran artists and the younger generation of Gen Z artists with a global mindset.
Young artists win overwhelmingly.
Born on September 9, 1999, Nguyen Hung reached the peak of his career with his Song of the Year win for " What Could Be More Beautiful ," inspired by the Vietnamese blockbuster film " Red Rain ." To win this important category, the self-taught songwriter/singer had to overcome formidable competitors such as Bac Bling, Phu Dong Thien Vuong, and "My House Has a Flag Hanging on It"...
"Mục hạ vo nhân" - Soobin ft Binz & People's Artist Huỳnh Tú won convincingly in the Music Video of the Year category, beating out strong contenders such as: " Bắc Bling" - Hoa Minzy ft NS Xuân Hinh, Masew, Tuấn Cry; "Writing the Story of Peace" - Tùng Dương, Nguyễn Văn Chung; "Forever Vietnamese" - Trang Phap ft Ha Le.

In a year of vibrant Vietnamese music like 2025, Nguyen Van Chung's "Continuing the Story of Peace " was considered the "national anthem" with the strongest reach, especially at the "national concert" celebrating the A50 anniversary.
