North Korea fires short-range missiles

Pyongyang [North Korea], September 13: North Korea fired multiple short-range missiles towards the Sea of Japan on Saturday, one day after the end of a joint military exercise involving South Korea, the United States and Japan.
The missiles flew around 250 kilometres before falling into the Sea of Japan, also known as the East Sea, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported, citing the country's Joint Chiefs of Staff. (DPA)
