European stocks close lower following ECB rate hike

London [UK], September 11: European stock markets closed lower across the board on Thursday, following the European Central Bank's decision to raise interest rates.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 0.61% at the close, while Germany's DAX index declined 0.69%, the UK's FTSE 100 dropped 0.57%, and France's CAC 40 slipped 0.49%.
